Overview
International and Area Studies is the administrative home for three academic groups that share similar goals in curriculum and mission. These groups include the Asian and Middle East Studies Program, the International Studies Program and the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program.
IAS curriculum encourages interdisciplinary study that draws from history, anthropology, economics, political science and various other departments at the university.
Students apply their analytic skills to explore substantive issues from a variety of theoretical and methodological perspectives. To learn more about each program please visit the individual program website:
